Kleros Property Care was built to bring professional systems, accountability, and consistent service to lawn and exterior property care. We believe recurring care should feel like a managed service — not a series of one-off transactions.

The name

Kleros (κλῆρος)

Ancient Greek for “a lot, an allotment, an inheritance” — the portion of land entrusted to a household to steward and pass on.

In the ancient world, a kleros was not simply property. It was the share of ground a family was given responsibility for: worked carefully, kept in good order, and handed to the next generation in better condition than it was received. The word carried an obligation, not just a claim.

That is the idea the company is named for. A property is an inheritance in progress — something worth maintaining to a standard rather than reacting to when it gets out of hand. Our role is stewardship: consistent, disciplined care of ground that belongs to someone else, treated as though it were entrusted to us.

Where Kleros came from

Kleros Property Care is the lawn care division of Mantis Holdings, built first to maintain the standards required across the Mantis property portfolio and now offered to homeowners, businesses, and property managers across the Upstate.

The standard came first. Managing properties across the Upstate meant grounds had to be maintained on a schedule that did not slip, by crews who showed up whether or not anyone was watching. When no outside provider could hold that line consistently, we built the company that could — and opened it to homeowners, businesses, and property managers who wanted the same standard held on their own property.
